- Bastogne walnut body, Indian rosewood neck and fretboard.
- The body and neck are carved for comfort and ergonomics. The neck is a three-piece laminate of rosewood for maximum strength and stability.
- The neck heel on Proto 1 was further refined, but the body contours remain largely the same – and extremely comfortable.
- The body features a 16" carved radius top and recessed controls.
- Compensated nut.
- Locking tuners and scarf-jointed headstock.
- Figured South American mahogany, maple/mahogany laminated neck and curly roasted maple fretboard.
- Five-piece roasted curly maple neck with two figured mahogany stringers.
- The body received seven coats of oil and four coats of wax for a smooth and comfortable finish that allows the wood to flex and resonate.
- Bare Knuckle Aftermath 7-string matched set with distressed covers really complement the look of the Hipshot bridge and GraphTech String Saver saddles.
- The body carve blends curves and edges to create a striking and comfortable form.
- The heel shape is optimized for the hand shape in the upper registers.
- GraphTech Black Tusq XL nut and recessed Hipshot tuners.
